- Make sure Google Desktop is running and click "Download Now" above to download the widget
- Double-Click on the .gg file
- Click "yes" when Google Desktop asks you if you would like to add the widget.

This lightweight program will keep you smiling while you're typing :) With PeopleWatcher, a HOT or NOT person's picture will show up in the corner of your computer screen, once every five minutes. Click the picture if you want to meet him/or her, or do nothing and the picture will go away. You decide how often the pictures show up, and what type of person appears (only hot people, only women/only men, how old, etc.)

Once you've installed PeopleWatcher, start the program from your Windows Start Menu or from the HOT or NOT icon on your desktop. A little HOT or NOT icon should appear in the bottom-right part of your screen (on the taskbar). If you do nothing, a picture will pop up every five minutes.

- If you get impatient and want to see a new picture, click the icon once and a picture will appear.
- If you want to rate the person, click the picture once (left button).
- If you want to meet the person, click the yellow title bar once with the left button (where it says 'meet me' or 'click here to meet me').
- The picture will disappear naturally after a second or two, but if you get impatient and want to get rid of it immediately you can do any of the following: (a) click the taskbar icon once, (b) right-click the picture, (c) click the little red close button.

If you right-click the icon, a pop-up menu will provide you with a bunch more options. By right-clicking and then clicking on 'Settings...' you can change the behavior of PeopleWatcher.

- General tab: lets you to change the gende, age, and location of the people that show up. Turning on hot mode will make PeopleWatcher only show you users with a high rating, but you can't choose a location while in HOT mode.
- Display tab: lets you customize stuff like the interval in between popups (default is 5 minutes), and how big the pictures are.
- Advanced tab: provides other bonus features. From here you can tell PeopleWatcher to automatically start when Windows starts (you must be the owner/administrator of your computer to do this).
- Boss mode: If you right-click the taskbar icon then click 'Sleep...', you can make PeopleWatcher stop pestering you for as long as you want.
- Who was that? Right-click the taskbar icon then click 'Who was that?' to re-display the last person. This is useful if someone caught your eye but disappeared before you had time to click him/her.
