I'm not a huge fan of metal or hard rock...esp. the main stream bands but the band isn't bad although...I only like to sometimes listen to it or if some else has the cd n shit but I'd never buy any albums in the internet or in record stores although.

I like music thats more like psychedelic flavor to it like psy trance or some psychedelic rock like ozric tentacles and hawkwind, and some of pink floyd songs sounds a little psychedelic too.

Pink floyd is one of the only(well-known main stream band), that I really like.

THE BLACK ALBUM WAS A MILD DISSAPPOINTMENT WHEN IT CAME OUT IN 1991. COMPARED TO THE HARD, FAST AND BLASTING TUNES OF THEIR EARLIER ALBUMS......AND JUSTICE FOR ALL WAS A GREAT ALBUM THAT WAS THE PREVIOUS ALBUM TO BLACK.(1988) WHICH WAS ON THE OPPISITE END OF THE SPECTRUM OF THE BLACK ALBUM. PRE- BLACK WAS WHEN THE BAND WAS LIVING THE ROCK AND ROLL LIFESTYLE WITH THE DRUGS, ALCOHOL, AND WHORES. AFTER 1988 MOST THE BAND DECIDED TO GET SOMEWHAT CLEAN OF DRUGS AND PUT SOME BLOOD BACK IN THEIR ALCOHOL STREAM. OR VISE VERSA. SO THE BLACK ALBUM WAS CREATED IN A LITTLE DIFFERENT MIND SET AS ALL PREVIOUS. I THINK. NONE THE LESS. THE BLACK ALBUM WAS DECENT, IT JUST CANT COMPARE TO ALL ALBUMS BEFORE. BUT I GREW UP IN THE EARLY 80S WHEN THE BAND WAS JUST BLAZING ONTO THE STAGES. NOTHING CAN COMPARE TO THE HEAVY METAL OF THE 80S AND EARLY 90S. NOTHING. AND LETS NOT FORGET ONE OF THE GREATEST BASS PLAYERS EVER...CLIFF BURTON. WHO DIED IN 1986 IN THE TOUR BUS ACCIDENT. CHECK OUT THE VIDEO CALLED "CLIFF EM ALL" THAT WILL REALLY GIVE YOU A GOOD IDEA OF A ROCK STAR IN THE 80S. A MUST SEE. FEATURES ALOT OF CLIFFS LIVE RIPPING SOLOS ON STAGE. AWSOME. ANYWAY.
