The oldest fast food joint in the country & still going but not as it once was. Having servers come to your car was a different way of doing it for sure. I liked there Root Beer Floats & the their Root Bear character. I remember some stores had a fireplace in the middle the was neat.

I always wondered what A & W stood for it was the names of teh founders duh. Allen & Wilson.
